How to get there

You can see the ski slope from a distance of 3 km on the right side – if you are coming from Bardejov. From the direction of Svidník, turn left about 500 meters after leaving Nižná Polianka. As you would miss the swimming pool for the trees in the summer, pay attention to information boards. You can park in the parking lot in the complex or use provisional grass car parks well-marked during the summer and winter seasons. Parking is free all year round. BUS – stop: Villa MAKOVICA. Regular bus service will take you to Bardejov and back. At the bus station, look for buses heading to: Svidník, Stropkov, Snina, Humenné, Ondavka, or opt for some private operator and long-distance lines. Buses to Nižná Polianka run approximately every two hours. Nižná Polianka has two bus stops, but only one bus stops is served by all bus lines. In order to get to the resort as close as possible, we recommend that you inform the driver that you want to get off at Villa MAKOVICA when boarding. From there, it is only a 5-minute walk. TRAIN – it is important to get to Bardejov, which is the final stop. Then, take a bus. The train and bus stations are in one place. AIRPLANE – Nižná Polianka is about 100 kilometers away from the airport Poprad-Tatry and also from the airport Košice. The nearest airports in Poland are Rzeszow Airport (137 km) and Krakow Airport (199 km).
