A unique place featuring five dwellings from five historical periods spanning from prehistoric times to the early Middle Ages – this is an original museum full of experience. The park takes visitors over 30 thousand years back in time. The five dwellings have richly decorated interiors full of period furniture, fully clothed figurines and everyday objects – all replicas of the original finds. Visitors can touch and use everything they see. In the Paleolithic dwelling there are, for example, replicas of items made of stone, in the Neolithic dwelling there is pottery, in the building from the Late Bronze Age there are objects and items made of bronze, in the La Tène and Slavic cottage there are iron artifacts. All buildings also feature wooden, wicker and leather objects, some even simple musical instruments. Each dwelling is inhabited by its permanent “inhabitants” – mannequins dressed in replicas of period clothing. The Archeopark is surrounded by a palisade (the palisade is not a reconstruction of any particular fortification, it only encloses this space and separates it from the surrounding world).
