The legacy of our fathers through the eyes of Ján Lazorik. The Center of Folk Culture in Krivany was opened in 2009. The center exhibits collection items of Ján Lazorík who wished to collect as many exhibits characterizing the folk tradition of the picturesque Šariš region as possible. The center exhibits several typical monuments of folk architecture, such as authentic wooden granaries and a reconstructed classic wooden house with period folk furniture inside. There is also a craft yard, where various craft and technical tools are on display. An exhibition of traditional costumes can be seen in the municipal office building. There is also a wooden amphitheater with a covered stage where the Hornotoryský Folklore Festival is held every year on the second weekend of August. Particular are also wooden sculptures installed not only around the center but also around the municipality. These are the works of the local carver.
