Late-Classicist manor house Radatice
Radatice lies in the southeastern part of the highlands Šarišská vrchovina at an altitude of about 285 meters at the confluence of the streams Chujava and Žarinec with the river Svinka. This municipality is a part of the micro-region of Čierna hora. The municipality was founded in 1964 by merging the municipalities of Meretice and Radačov. There is a national cultural monument – a late Classicist manor house where you will find the municipal office, library, gym and lounge.
The late Classicist manor house from 1863 was originally a single-storey block longitudinal building with a risalit in the middle of the main façade and a vertically built multi-storey extension. Later, the manor house was transformed into a two-wing building. The corners on the second floor feature pilasters with a cornice head. The rooms have flat ceilings, some of which are covered with trough and mirror vaults.
